Coffee and Cards - Dragonfly Dreams!
We are having the most amazing weather here in the U K over the last few weeks. Dragonfly Dreams seemed the perfect stamp set for Coffee and Cards.
It is not a new stamp set but it's a favourite, I was very happy to see it carry over into the new 2018 Annual Catalogue. I haven't used it in ages and was very happy to ink it up. The Dragonfly is pretty and you may have seen the Bee before because I have used him SO much !
I wanted to colour in the wings so that it still looked delicate and pretty. The Blends alcohol markers are perfect for this. They give this stamp set a whole new look!
I have stamped the background "water" using the dotty stamp in the set, in Soft Sea Foam, stamping off first. I also added a little Coastal Cabana by doing the same but stamping off a second time.
These next cards were all made by the ladies who come to Coffee and Cards on a Monday.
I have it in a lovely community Coffee Shop - such a lovely welcoming place. The coffee is great and so are the cakes!

We stamped our dragonfly in Smokey Slate and again used the Blend pens - love them.
