A Birthday Note - Lovely Floral Embossing Folder with P. S You're The Best

When I decided on this card I want it very soft and summery. Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate compliment each other perfectly don't you think.

I designed it for my July card class which focused on the P.S You're The Best stamp set. So I have one I designed and the other I demonstrated at class.  So they are now both winging their way to two of my lovely friends who share August as their Birthday month with me.

Can you see the Whisper White card layer? I have embossed it with the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder. it's so pretty.

I stamped the typewriter image in Smoky Slate and fussy cut it out - it's ok though, it's an easy shape. I layered one of the pearlised doilies behind it and raised it up on foam Dimensionals. I have added a few of the Artisan Pearls on the front.

I stamped the celebrate (from Banners For You set) on a scrap of Whisper White and punched it out using the Classic Label Punch. I punched another label out of a scrap of Smoky Slate and layered them up with a piece of the pretty Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon. I tucked it underneath the doily using a little adhesive.

The sentiment is stamped inside on Whisper White card in Daffodil Delight. I have used the Picture Perfect stamp set. I love the sentiments in this set and the curly font. You see me using it ALOT!

 Lovely Floral Embossing Folder

I have been using this embossing folder tons lately! It is so pretty. I love it's simplicity and yet it's boldness. It is perfect to create a gorgeous card using just that as it's focal point.

The deep impression gives a great image. I chose to play around with some of our brand new 2018-2020 In Colours. I have used Pineapple Punch card stock here and Grapefruit Grove to cut out the Congrats from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlit Dies. I have layered it onto a base of Whisper White and simply added a few of the Artisan Pearls to finish it off.

Such a quick and simple congratulations card. The embossing folder does all the work for this card.  So pretty too

I've used it again here on this thank you card.

We used it at my monthly class last week too and the ladies loved it! I have lots of ideas for uses for it and it's a great staple to have in your crafting stash. At only £8.25 it's fabulous!

Global Design Project #137 Colour Challenge!

Thank You Card - Love What You Do  

We have had a glorious Bank Holiday weekend, the warm weather has been amazing and it feels like summer!

I just love this colour combo too, definitely very summery colours don't you think? 

I love to take part in the Global Design Project whenever I can. The challenges are a great starting point to get you inspired, especially a colour one. Anyone can join along. You can see here the awesome work of the Design Team, all the entries and play along too if you like.

I decided on a neutral colour card base in Basic Black to make the Pool Party Layer pop and added a layer of Pool Party card.

Front and centre is a Whisper White panel embossed with the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder. 

It leaves a stunning impression and makes a great focal point to the card, by itself. I stamped the stems in Lemon Lime Twist straight on to the Whisper White in Pear Pizzazz. 

The flowers are stamped in Tuxedo  Memento ink and water coloured using an Aqua Painter and a Melon Mambo Ink pad. 

 Thank You is stamped in Pool Party. 

I have used the gorgeous stamps and embossing folder from the new Share What You Love Suite.

I used Clear Wink Of Stella on the petals. It leaves a subtle shimmer and is very pretty.
