Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #025 - Colour Challenge!

Balloon Celebrations!

For the Inspire Create Stamping Challenge this time we have a colour challenge. Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist.

These colours just shout Celebrations to me so I reached for the sequin embossing folder and the Balloon stamps and matching punch.

I have used this stamp and punch combinations SO many times for lots of different cards and every one is different. They are so useful and versatile to have in your tool box as you can use them for pretty much any occasion.

The card base is in Lemon Lime Twist and the layer is in Whisper White, run through the Big Shot with the Sequin Embossing Folder

The balloons were simply punched out and a little stamping with the balloon shading stamp on top in the same colour ink. Two of each colour. Some flat and some on Dimensional Foam Pads.

I have added the celebrate die cut word from the celebrate You Thinlit Dies in Bermuda Bay and have threaded through some Gold Metallic Twine to act as balloon strings. I have added a few Rhinestones dotted about too for a little sparkle.

This sentiment is fabulous, perfect for this card. I have stamped it in Bermuda Bay! 

Such a simple but effective card.

Open House Fun! New Catalogue Launch Party

Open House Fun! New Stampin Up Catalogue Launch Party

Last night I held my annual Open House to celebrate the launch of the new Annual Catalogue. This is a fun affair. Lots of chat, and laughter goes on. We catch up with friends and make new ones too!

We browse the new catalogue, and chat about our favourites. So much more fun doing this together.

There is of course tea, coffee, cake and nibbles.

And it wouldn't be a party without some fizz!

After lots of chat we get down to some crafting.

Time For Some Fun Make n Takes!

 I have prepared some Make n Takes with product from the new catalogue to play with.

This was fun!

Pretty projects, using Animal Outing and Painted Glass stamp sets.

This one uses Pool Party card , Whisper White card, Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate Ink Pads and the stamp is from Painted Glass. The "note for you" sentiment is from the Eastern Beauty stamp set.

This one uses Old Olive card, Smoky Slate card, DSP (patterned paper) from the Share What You Love papers, Blends Markers in Light and Dark Smoky Slate and Burlap Ribbon.

Then a raffle. I had two stamp sets for raffle prizes wrapped in a metre of pretty ribbon.😊

Post It Note Holder - Statement Of My Heart.

I have been using loads of post it note's lately! I have a copy of the brand new catalogue in the house. Its gorgeous. Even the cover is a veritable rainbow. I have been using them to mark the pages of all the things I love. Mine is well thumbed and there are ALOT of post it notes in there!

I have used Mint Macaron card to make this Post It Note Holder. Mint Macaron was one of my favourites and I was so happy to see that it is a returning colour in Stampin Up's colour revamp that is happening. Did you know about the colour revamp? I am really excited about this as we have some gorgeous new colours coming to our Colour Families. You can read all about it in my blog post here.
