Hello Beautiful Butterfly! Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #043

Do you like this colour palette? We have such a happy colour combination for this week's Inspire Create Challenge #043. I really love all three colours and an idea popped into mind as soon as I saw them.

The ink splattering was the best part! I dipped my aqua painter into the ink, and splattered it randomly! I love it. such a pretty effect.

How it's made

I stamped one of the large butterfly's in the stamp set in clear Versamark onto watercolour paper and heat embossed using Copper Embossing powder - heat embossing never gets old does it!, The watercolouring was done using my Aquapainter, lifting ink from my Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie ink pads. I then punched it out using the Butterfly Duet punch.

The sentiment was stamped straight on top with Memento black ink and the butterfly attached with a little adhesive to the middle of his body, leaving his wings free. I used a card base of Granny Apple Green and then a layer of Poppy Parade and one of Pumpkin Pie.
