Dear Friend You're The Best! 

Handwritten and P.S. You’re The Best Stamps

I just love this stamp set, the typewriter image caught my eye. It resonates of times gone by when so much effort went into the writing of a letter to a friend. It really was something special to receive a letter in the post in the days before the internet and social media.

This was one of the cards we made at my monthly class in July. We used Copper Embossing Powder to emboss the background Handwritten stamp. It gives it such a lovely tone and goes well with the Granny Apple Green card we used.

The base card is in Whisper White to make the Granny Apple Green stand out. I added some of the gorgeous new Granny Apple Green ribbon along the front secured with snail adhesive.  The dear friend and you're the best are stamped in Granny Apple Green and I have added a stamped heart also heat embossed in copper.

I had this card in my mind for a while and I love how it turned out. I hope you do too.

Coffee and Cards - You're The Best!

Coffee and Cards this week we used the gorgeous Share What You Love Designer Series Papers with the Label Me Pretty stamp set and punch to make this You're The Best card.

Here are the products we used with clickable links to my online shop.

We matched the Designer Series Paper colours for our stamping. 

It was all about the punches today. We used the matching Pretty Label Punch and the 1 1/4 " circle punch to punch out the label. Using Dimensionals to raise the centre circle. I added the "Thank You" from Thoughtful Banners by punching out with the classic label punch. Great, versatile punches to have in your stash. I love how they coordinate too.

I took the pack of the Share What You Love papers and let the ladies pick their favourites, with the card bases made from the matching Share What You Love card stock pack - Each pack of DSP has a pack of card that matches the colours in the papers.  😀

So pretty aren't they!

I love how the Designer Series Paper is the star of the show here..

 It doesn't really need a lot of dressing up to make a beautiful card.

Coffee and Cards Yesterday

We do have fun at Coffee and Cards. There is lots of chat as well as stamping. The coffee is great and there may have been a bacon sandwich or two consumed too 😋
