Let's Celebrate You! - Birthday Blooms

I have just taken delivery of the gorgeous Bloom And Grow Bundle, which is perfect timing for this week's  Inspire Create Challenge. 💕

Birthday Card with stamped and embossed flowers from the Bloom and Grow stamp from Stampin Up water coloured in Lovely Lipstick and Mossy Meadow

Just how beautiful is this stamp set? The "Let's Celebrate You "sentiment is perfect for the birthday theme and the font is gorgeous!

I just love these flowers - they remind me of Dog Roses and were just begging to be watercoloured.

Bloom and Grow stamp set and Dies from Stampin Up

Lots of gorgeous images with the matching dies. I love that you can stamp out the different leaves, die-cut them and build your bouquet. Don't forget, if you purchase the stamps and dies together as a bundle you save 10% and also qualifies for Bonus Days too.   For every £45 you spend this month you get a voucher for  £4.50 off an order next month.

I stamped in the flowers on some Whisper White in Versamark and heat embossed in Silver and then water coloured using the ink from an ink pad and an aquapainter. I experimented a little before settling on Lovely Lipstick and Mossy Meadow. I carried on the Lovely Lipstick in the matching ribbon. What do you think?

I hope you like my card, it's always lovely to give some beautiful blooms on a birthday.

Watercolouring - By The Bay

 Watercolour By The Bay

Thanks for joining me for my Saleabration Project this week.

Water colouring By The Bay, Stampin Up

We have had some fabulous items this Saleabration and this week I am using the By The Bay stamp set.  The Water Colour pencils were the obvious choice to pair with it to make some simple, pretty cards.

The image is stamped in Black Stazon ink and then lightly coloured in using just a few Watercolour pencils. I used an Aqua Painter to watercolour. The sentiment is stamped in Black.

I used the Whisper White notecards and envelopes, these are so handy. they come in packs of 20 all ready to go. I stamped and water coloured directly on to the notecard.

Such a simple but pretty card. I stamped the seabirds on to the envelope too.

Here is My You Tube video showing how I made the card

I really love these shoreline images, they remind me of holidays on the Devon Coast we always used to take when the children were smaller. I hope you like the video. Do give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you do. Don't forget to click the little bell for notification of future videos.

Oh So Eclectic! Customer Thank you Cards

Oh So Eclectic Watercolour Thank You Cards

I chose the Oh So Eclectic Stamp set for my Customer Thank You cards for September.
There are so many pretty stamps in this set it was hard to choose which one to use, but I wanted to make a clean and simple watercolour card and this little flower fits the bill perfectly.

The card base is Pear Pizzazz with a layer of Rich Razzleberry

I stamped the flower in Black Memento Ink onto Watercolour paper and then simply water coloured using an Aqua Painter (water filled paint brush) and my Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. The stem is coloured with Pear Pizzazz ink.

I repeated the stamping inside in Rich Razzleberry Ink.

I'm very thankful to all my customers who order with me and I thought the "You're So Lovely" sentiment was perfect for this card. I simply stamped it in Pear Pizzazz ink onto a piece of Whisper White card and layered it onto Rich Razzleberry.

Water Colouring at Coffee and Cards

Love What You Do!

I have used this stamp set so much for "stepped up" cards. I love the flower image so much. If you look on Pinterest or You Tube you can find a TON of examples. What I hadn't realised at first was that this was also the perfect set for a clean and simple one layer card! And thus perfect for Coffee and Cards.

This card is perfect for beginners or those just building their supplies. It uses one Stamp Set, a Memento Black ink pad , a little water spritzer and three Stampin Write Markers. Add in your card base and layer and that is it!

I have used the back ground stamp in the set to colour onto in three horizontal stripes using the three different colour markers, spritzed lightly with water and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. Leave until dry (just a few moments) and then stamp the flower image and sentiment in Memento ink over the top. It creates a lovely water colour effect behind the flowers.

The ladies made some beautiful cards!

All that is left to finish it off then is to add a little of the same colours to the petals.

Don't forget to stamp on your envelope too. None of my ladies send cards with naked envelopes these days 😀Though I did forget to snap a pic of their envelopes.

It's great to demonstrate a beautiful card using just a few products - you don't have to own everything to make something gorgeous especially when Stampin Up make everything to match.

Here are all the products we used to make the card with clickable links to my online shop

I use more products and demonstrate techniques at my Monthly class to make more "stepped up" cards. Here are a couple of examples using the same stamp set .
