Wow today is the very last day of Saleabration! We started Saleabration on January 3rd when the New Year had just begun and it was very definitely the middle of Winter and it's ending today on March 31st which also marks the first day of British Summer Time, our clocks went forward last night! So it seemed fitting to bring you a project with fresh summery colours today.

It's also Mothering Sunday in the UK today and I have had a lovely couple of hours in my craft room making this Pen/Pencil Pot and playing with the Painted Seasons Papers. They are beautiful. You gat a full pack of 12, 12 x 12 papers free with Saleabration.

There are lots of gorgeous designs in these papers and I pulled out this one as I wanted to pick out the Lemon lime Twist colour. They are so simple to make and perfect for all the paraphernalia on my craft desk.

Hello Cupcake, Cupcake Box

Hello Cupcake,  Cupcake Box!

Wow, we have just a few days of Saleabration left so I pulled out one of my favourite's for this week's Saleabration post. Hello Cupcake. 

I have had this simple idea in my head for a while. Using the Hello Cupcake stamps with the Bakers Boxes. These boxes come ready made, easy to assemble with simple folding along the score lines. They are food safe, have a great acetate window on the top and are a good size. 

Some simple decoration turns it into a personalised cupcake box. Just right for giving out at a party to take a cake home instead of having one large cake. We have THREE big birthdays in our house this year! So I think they will come in handy.

Watercolouring - By The Bay

 Watercolour By The Bay

Thanks for joining me for my Saleabration Project this week. 

We have had some fabulous items this Saleabration and this week I am using the By The Bay stamp set.  The Water Colour pencils were the obvious choice to pair with it to make some simple, pretty cards.

The image is stamped in Black Stazon ink and then lightly coloured in using just a few Watercolour pencils. I used an Aqua Painter to watercolour. The sentiment is stamped in Black.

I used the Whisper White notecards and envelopes, these are so handy. they come in packs of 20 all ready to go. I stamped and water coloured directly on to the notecard.

Such a simple but pretty card. I stamped the seabirds on to the envelope too.

Thanks for coming to my blog today. I am so happy to be taking part in Kylie Bertucci's blog highlights. This is a monthly card challenge and you get to choose the winners! There are lots of amazingly creative people from around the world taking part.  The top ten winners will get to be part of an International Blog Hop,  so please vote for me. You can vote for me here.

The theme we have is encouragement, thankfulness and gratitude so I pulled out a stamp/die bundle that I thought would be perfect for this. It's called Lift Me Up. 

It's full of hot air balloon stamps, clouds and great sentiments with a set a coordinating dies called Up And Away, including this fab detailed large hot air balloon die

I wanted to make an easel card and having it looking like the balloon was rising up and away from the clouds - to fit the sentiment I chose - "Thanks For Lifting Me Up"

The balloons are cut using the Grapefruit Grove Foiled Papers - free from Saleabration. Can you see the rainbow of colour when the light shines on it? I was going for a kind of sunset feel. I've used the dies that allow you to cut out sections to fit the back of the balloon in vellum to echo the fabric of a real hot air ballon.

I die cut the clouds in Balmy Blue and Whisper White to match the card and raised them up on Dimensionals to support the Easel part of the card.

Inside the card I have used the "Thanks" sentiment in Balmy Blue ink.

Painted Seasons Box With Matching Cards And Envelopes

Thanks for joining me for Saleabration Sunday, bringing you a new project every Sunday throughout Saleabration.

I pulled out the Painted Seasons Papers for this weeks project, I've been using it so much!

 Both sides are so pretty. I've chosen to use the 'B' sides and teamed it up with another of my Saleabration favourites, the Home To Roost stamp set.

The box holds 4-6 cards and matching envelopes and would make a lovely gift, so simple, takes very little supplies to make and great to gift 

The cards are 4" x 4 " and have matching envelopes that are so easy to make.

Dimensions

Cards

Card Bases - 1, 12 x 12 sheet of Whisper White card. Cut at 8", Score at 4", turn and cut at 4" intervals to make 3 card bases. Take the off cut, score at 4" and cut at 8" to give you your 4th base. Keep the last small piece for stamping.

DSP layers for the cards. 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"

Box

Whisper White card. 7 7/8" x 7 7/8 "

Using Envelope Punch Board, score at 3 1/2 " and punch, score at 4 1/2 inches and punch. one the first side. Then follow score lines as per video tutorial.
