Everything Is Rosy Blog Hop !

I am so excited to be part of this special collaborative blog hop with the Pinkies team I belong to here in the UK and the Inkspired team over in Australia! If you are starting here or continuing to hop, hello and welcome to my blog. Today we will all be working with the new, gorgeous Everything Is Rosy Medley๐Ÿ’•

It's cram packed full of beautiful products and the first thing I wanted to make with it was a Memory Album. Perfect to fill with photographs and gift.

The papers are foiled in Rose Gold and are so pretty, easy to choose which to use on the album pages.

I've used the detailed edgelit die with the Rose Gold Foil card to create a beautiful edge down the right sides of the pages.

The flowers and leaves are stamped in Night Of Navy and Melon Mambo, full strength and stamping off to create different shades of the same colour before die cutting Making it simple work to layer them up and decorate the pages.

I've added pockets that give plenty of extra space to include photos and journaling and I used a little of the Melon Mambo Ruched Ribbon to create a pull tab on this one.

Can you see a few of the Rose Gold mirror dots I added to this page?

This might be my favourite page.

I've used a paintbrush to splatter the Rose Gold Shimmer Paint to the Whisper White card before adding the stamped, die cut flowers and leaves. The leaf sprays were cut in Whisper White and simply painted with the Rose Gold Shimmer Paint.

I've painted the friend die cut from the Well Written framelits with the Rose Gold Shimmer Paint.

I made it as a gift with a matching birthday card to go with it,

A little more paint spattering with the Shimmer Paint before layering up the die cut flowers. The sentiment is stamped in Melon Mambo and the leaf sprays are die cut with the Rose Gold Foiled card to finish it off.

I hope you like it, do let me know. I've loved playing with Everything Is Rosy and there are lots more projects to come with it, so do look out for those.

Happy Birthday, All That You Are . Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Happy Birthday, All That You Are.

Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

I am so excited to be part of the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop and very honoured to be in amongst some very talented stampers from around the world! If you are starting here or continuing to hop, hello and welcome to my blog.

For our second hop the theme is Birthdays and the perfect excuse to use the beautiful All that You Are stamps. I based my all day craft event that I ran earlier this month around this set and I just can't put it down.

Birthday Card, All That You Are Stamp set, heat embossed in white and coloured in Lovely Lipstick and Old Olive

This flower image is so beautiful and lends itself beautifully to all sorts of colouring mediums.

I simply stamped and embossed it in White embossing powder onto Sahara Sand card. I then used my Lovely Lipstick ink pad and picked up the colour with a blender pen and coloured it in. I did the same for the leaves in Old Olive - very simple. Blender pens can certainly make your ink pads more versatile.

I added a layer of Whisper White behind the Sahara Sand layer before adhering to the Sahara Sand card base. The Happy Birthday sentiment is stamped in Lovely Lipstick onto a square of Whisper White and I added some of the Lovely Lipstick Ribbon to finish it off.

Inside of birthday card, hand stamped with flower from the All That You Are stamps from Stampin' Up! and matching envelope

I stamped the same flower image in Memento Black off the side of the Whisper White layer inside before glueing into place and stamped the envelope to match. I always like to stamp my envelopes. It gives a nice finishing touch and is lovely to receive.
I have some other projects featuring this stamps set. You can see them here, and here.
I cant wait to see what all the other people taking part in the hop have come up with for this theme. There are some super talented people taking part so grab a cuppa and hop around for some fabulous inspiration.

I am so excited to be part of Kylie Bertucci's February Blog Hop! We are an international group of demonstrators all working towards growing our business's and sharing ideas and inspiration along the way.  Thank you so much for joining us !

You may be starting here or have come from another blog. The list is at the end of the post do you can hop along from blog to blog getting lots of ideas and inspiration as you go.

Card with heat embossing on Vellum - stained glass technique.

I've been playing with the new All That You Are stamp set and I just love it. This was one of the cards I designed for my all day craft day yesterday.

I wanted to show them how by heat embossing the flower image in White Emboss Powder and colouring in on the reverse with the Stampin' Blends it's easy to create a beautiful image. A little like stained glass.  I added a few of the self adhesive sequins and attached the vellum to the Whisper White layer using glue dots strategically placed under the sequins and sentiment. The sentiment is stamped in Black Memento and cut out using the new Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I've just got mine and can't put them down!

Card inside. Hand stamped.

I used Powder Pink as the card base and stamped inside in Powder Pink and Soft Sea Foam ink. I repeated the stamping on the envelope too.

Dimensions

Card Base - A4 Powder Pink, Scored at 10.5 cm and cut at 14.9 cm
Whisper White Layer 10 cm x 14.3 cm
Vellum 10 cm x 14.3 cm
Inside Whisper White Layer 10cm x 14.3 cm

I do hope you like my card. You can start or continue hopping around here, so grab a cuppa, and enjoy!

You may be starting here or have come from another blog. The list is at the end of the post do you can hop along from blog to blog getting lots of ideas and inspiration as you go.

Humming Along Birthday Card. Hummingbird stamp,

I have been playing with the Humming Along stamp set from the new Spring Summer Catalogue. This humming bird stamp is gorgeous and it makes it easy to make beautiful cards.

Humming Along Birthday Card. Hummingbird stamp,

Here is how I made it.

I have paired it with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and coloured the humming bird in, shading and blending hues of blue. I used Light Night Of Navy, Light Bermuda Bay, Dark Pool Party and Light Pool Party. I have coloured the beak in Light Daffodil Delight. The bird is cut out and attached to the base using Dimensionals and I have coloured the leaf image in Dark and Light Old Olive . The base card is in Whisper White and the layer is in Bermuda Bay. The sentiment is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink to match.

Humming Along Birthday Card. Hummingbird stamp,

Can you see the White Polka Dot Ribbon peeking out from under the sentiment? You can't see so well in the photograph but the hummingbird has been coloured with Clear Wink Of Stella giving a little iridescence for the finishing touch.

This stamp set has some very useful sentiments in it. It has birthday, thank you and get well too, as well as a gorgeous hibiscus stamp too. So useful.

I do hope you like my card. You can start or continue hopping around here, so grab a cuppa, and enjoy!
