Everything's Coming Up Daisies!

 We have a new daisy punch that cuts out these lovely smaller daisies. It's called the Medium Daisy Punch and is the sidekick to the large Daisy punch, it has a great stamp set to go with it with a new large daisy stamp included in it. Brilliant as I can use it with both punches and both the Daisy Delight stamps and the new Daisy Lane stamps work together. The new medium Daisy was right near the top of my long must-have list!

We have a circle sketch for the Inspire Create Challenge this week, and I really wanted to play with the Daisies so I used the large Daisy to represent the circle.

I used a little of the White Polka dot tulle ribbon and some gold metallic thread behind the daisies.

I wanted to splatter the flower with pink as if it were a real daisy you'd find. Can you guess how I did it? Here's a short clip showing how I did that.

A bright colour combination using Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight card layers on a Whisper White card base and Melon Mambo ink splattering on the petals,  I added some leaves to bring in the green using the sprig punch.

New Daisy Lane Stamps With You Tube Tutorial

Just a short and sweet post for you today with a quick fun card made with the new Daisy Lane stamp set. It will be available in our new upcoming Stampin' Up! catalogue in June and coordinates with the  existing Daisy Delight stamp set and Daisy Punch.

I really like this new stamp set, I used it for my May card class last week along side Daisy Delight and the Punch. Watch out for those cards coming up on my blog soon. I couldn't resist another play with it though for todays post.

I chose Mossy Meadow and Melon Mambo with a hint of Daffodil Delight/Crushed Curry and I think they went together surprisingly well.

All My Love Papers And The Daisy Punch

I picked up this lovely candle at the shops recently. It's elderflower and prosecco and it smells heavenly. What really drew me to it were the gorgeous spring colours on it's pretty tin and I knew I wanted to make a box to gift it in. 

I wanted to make the box to fit the candle. For someone who is not great at maths, I was surprised at how easy this actually was!!

Flirty Flamingo Card 11 1/2" x 9 1/2"

Score with long side at the top at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4" and 11"

Score with the short side at the top at 2 3/4", 6 1/4" and 9"

I added the daisy using Flirty Flamingo card using the Daisy Punch to the box top and finished it off with a Gold Faceted Gem as a nod to the beautiful pink and gold candle tin inside. I tried a couple of other similar size candles in glass jars and they all fit, so I am sure you could find one to fit too.
