One For The Men! Let's Sail Away With The Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

I am so excited to be part of the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop and very honoured to be in amongst some very talented stampers from around the world! If you are starting here or continuing to hop, hello and welcome to my blog 😀

For our hop this month the theme is masculine. One for the men in our lives and the perfect excuse to show you this fun Pop Out card I made using the gorgeous Sail Away Suite.

I love the papers! perfect for everyone but great for the men in our lives. It can be a bit tricky to make a masculine card sometimes and I think these stamps, dies, and papers fit the bill.

It has a surprise hidden pop out inside giving it that WOW factor!

It's one of those that looks a little complicated but look a little harder and you can see how easy it is to make.

And a Birthday one. The birthday sentiments are from the Lots Of Happy Card Kit.

Good luck card with the sentiment I told the universe to send some awesome your way. stamped in the same colours as the Bird Ballad paper used, using stampin Write Markers

"I Told The Universe To Send Some Awesome Your Way" - such a great sentiment to put on a good luck card.  I love big sentiments and the distressed font on this one especially.

Good luck card with the sentiment I told the universe to send some awesome your way. stamped in the same colours as the Bird Ballad paper used, using stampin Write Markers

I wanted to add some colour so I took inspiration from the gorgeous Bird Ballad paper I used in the card. If you joined in with my June paper share you will already have these papers, if not you can get them in my online shop. I used Stampin' Write Markers in the matching colours to stamp with. It's a great technique making more use of the markers and a great alternative to the ink pads.

You can see exactly how I used this technique in my YouTube tutorial here.

I hope you like the video. Please give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you do. Don't forget to click the bell for notification of future videos.

Good Morning Magnolia Wedding Acceptance. Inspire Create Challenge #45

Hello, welcome to my blog. I am just loving the new catalogue that has just launched and specifically the Magnolia Lane Suite. It's beautiful and with this week bringing us an embossing theme for the Inspire Create Challenge I couldn't resist using the Magnolia stamps.

Good Morning Magnolia . Wedding acceptance card. Silver embossed magnolias on crumb cake

Aren't they stunning, I took inspiration from the Kraft Magnolia Lane cards we have. They come with silver frames and wouldn't work for what I wanted so I recreated the idea with Crumb Cake card instead. I added a Petal Pink Layer underneath and used one of the dies to make a pretty border at the bottom in Petal Pink also.

My hubby is very excited to have been asked to be best man for a dear friend later in the summer and I'm also excited to be going. Maybe a new hat is in order! I've made this card for them to accept and say thank you for the invitation to their wedding. I hope they like it.

Heat embossing is totally my thing. I just love to see the powder melt and go all glossy. It was one of the first techniques I used years ago when I first started crafting and it never gets old. The small magnolia stamp is just stunning embossed in silver. Quite an easy card to make really. A few layers of card, some embossing and a Thanks sentiment with a little of the beautiful new ribbon to finish it off. I LOVE this font! I hope you like the card. Do leave me a comment, I love to read them.

You can hop over to the Inspire Create Challenge here and see what all the other awesome Design Team members have come up with for the Embossing Challenge. You can get lots of inspiration and join along too. We'd love to have you and it's great fun.

Here are all the products I have used on my card, including the gorgeous Magnolia stamps. Clickable images will take you straight to my online shop.

I am of course, very grateful if you choose me to be your demonstrator and you shop with me. If you shop with me online, don't forget to use the hostess code if your order is between £20 - £150 for a gift from me.

Hello Magnolia Lane Featuring Magnolia Lane Cards And Envelopes.

Hello and welcome, thanks for stopping by. Our new Annual Stampin' Up Catalogue launched this week and I have a long list of favourites already. The Magnolia Lane has to be up there.

Magnolia Lane Hello Card Featuring Magnolia Lane cards and Envelopes

Magnolia Lane Memories And More Cards And Envelopes

I wanted a sweet card to say hello that wouldn't take long to make,  so reaching for the ready to go Magnolia Lane card bases and matching lined envelopes was the obvious choice and a great excuse to get playing with the stamps, dies and papers again.

You can see how I made it here in my YouTube tutorial.

I hope you liked the video. Do give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you do, oh and don't forget to press the little bell for notification of future videos.

You can stamp, colour and cut out the Magnolia using the dies or as I did here, you can use the die to cut the magnolias from the patterned paper. A little heat embossing, layering and some of the Mossy Meadow Bakers Twine and the card was done.

Incredibly Proud Of You ! - Kylie's International Blog Highlights

Thanks for coming to my blog today. I am so happy to be taking part in Kylie Bertucci's blog highlights.

Daisy Delight, Daisy card.Incredibly Proud Of You. Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights

This is a monthly card challenge and you get to chose the winners! There are lots of creative people from around the world taking part and a ton of inspiration.

The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop together later in the month. It would be great to be part of it, and would love if you would vote for me.  You can vote here

The theme we have is encouragement, this sentiment from the Incredible Like You stamp set says it all!  I've teamed it up with the Daisy Delight stamp set. The large daisy is gorgeous but I feel some of the smaller images in this set are often overlooked and just as beautiful.

Daisy Delight, Daisy card.Incredibly Proud Of You. Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights

The flower head is stamped in Memento Black.   The inside of the flower head is stamped in Daffodil  Delight with a little Crushed Curry ink added to the stamp using a sponge dauber before stamping.  I used the dauber with a little Crushed Curry Ink around the head of the flower to give the impression of a warm haze. Use a very light hand for this but I like the effect.

The "Incredibly Proud Of You" is stamped in Smokey Slate onto Whisper White and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I've tucked a little of the Gold metallic thread behind to make it pop and some Granny Apple Green Ribbon with a simple knot to finish it off

This was one of the cards I made for my May card class. All three used a combination of Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate and Granny Apple Green.

Dimensions

Card Base: Thick Whisper White. A4 card scored at 10.5 cm, cut in half at 14.9 cm
Layer: Smokey Slate card 10cm x 14.3 cm
Layer: Whisper White 9.5 cm x 13.9 cm

We always end the class with an easy one, but I love it's clean and simple look.

Please take a second to vote for me in this challenge. I would love to be part of the top ten winners International Blog Hop. You can have a look at all the entries, get lots of inspiration and  vote for me here. So grab a cuppa and enjoy.
