My thank you gifts this month are these little tea light boxes. They hold four standard tea-lights. These ones are Honey and Vanilla and smell lovely!

 I'm using one of my favourite stamps from the Annual Catalogue today - Love What You Do, with the Share What You Love matching stamp set and the new Well Written Framelit Dies

Mint Macaron and Rich Razzleberry, I love this colour combination.

 Coffee And Cards - Using Your DSP 

Do you have a stash of Designer Series Papers? (DSP). Do you use it for your cards and scrapbooking?, Do you cut it up and use it or do you love it so much, you stash it away until you have a "worthy" use for it?

So I brought a pack of the gorgeous Share What You Love DSP to Coffee and Cards this week to share the love of cutting up our DSP and getting it used to make some beautiful cards.

 O K here are a few reasons that might help liberate that pretty paper you've been saving.
 Paper trends change. It dates. So that paper you fell in love with a while ago - you may find you don't love it as much as you did at the time!  Also, that beautiful paper is only beautiful if you can see it. It's not so lovely stashed away in a drawer. Oh and thirdly, It is one of the least expensive parts of your stash. If you use it up, guess what - you can buy another pack. But if you don't use it and you see some more pretty paper you would like, you might think, oh no, I can't buy that, I haven't used what I already have. You still won't use your stash and you wont buy any more, just feel guilty about it. Who wants that! Right?! 

The ladies chose which papers they wanted to use, and if I needed to cut into a 12 x 12 sheet for just one card front, guess what? We did!  It will all get used. One sheet can make 6 card fronts!

I took along the new Incredible Like You stamp set for the lovely sentiments and beautiful font, and some stitched squares of Whisper White cut out using the Stitched Shape Framelit Dies. 

The DSP panel was glued onto the Whisper White card base, we stamped our sentiment onto the die cut and adhered it to the front using Dimensionals. We added a little bow from matching Bakers twine with a glue dot for the finishing touch.

So pretty aren't they! I hope they have inspired you to use up your patterned papers.

 We have so much fun at Coffee and Cards. It's such a lovely group and today we were celebrating one of the ladies birthdays! They do lovely cakes here.

But we thought we would stay for lunch/brunch so we all chose either bacon, sausages, eggs or a combination in a sandwich. 

What a civilised way to celebrate her birthday😀

You Are Amazing!

It's time for Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #027 and this time we have a Celebration theme!

There are all sorts of celebrations aren't there? Birthdays, new baby, wedding, anniversary, the list goes on. However, I had a different celebration in mind and I wanted to create a beautiful card that I could send to my team members 💕

There are so many opportunities with Stampin Up and I love to celebrate each and every achievement of my team. 

I can think of lots of other reasons to send this card too. It would be perfect for exam results, graduation, or getting a promotion or even to remind someone how great they are if they are having a hard time.

The Share What You Love papers are stunning aren't they?!

How It's Made

I started to create my card knowing that I wanted to use the Share What You Love Papers and the Celebrate You Thinlit dies and worked from there. I wanted to use layers of this gorgeous paper.  I have 4!  

The Celebrate You is cut out in Silver Glimmer Paper and then cut our twice more in Whisper White. I have layered them up using the fine tipped glue pen to give more dimension. 

The You Are Amazing is from the oh, so useful, Thoughtful Banners stamp set and I have used the coordinating Classic Label Punch which seems to be my "go to" punch this week. 

To finish it off I have used a little of the mini sequin trim and dotted some of the sequins across the card for a little sparkle.

I have simply added Celebrate from the same stamp set on Rich Razzleberry ink inside to leave lots of room for my message.

Happiest Of Birthdays To You. Stampin Up!

Happiest Of Birthdays To You!

I needed to make a 50th birthday card last week for a friend, well 50 is kinda special don't you think? So I pulled out my current favourite Designer Series Papers - Share What You Love from Stampin Up and layered them up on matching card.

50 calls for some gold embossing with my favourite birthday stamp set 😊 Picture Perfect Party- I love, love, this font. So pretty.

 I layered some more of the pretty paper, a Pearlised Doily and some of the luxurious Velvet Ribbon from this suite and dotted about some of the Artisan Pearls. I added the 50, cut from Gold Foil card using the Number dies. These particular ones are retired now but I keep mine handy for times like this. I have looped some Gold Metallic Thread behind the doily to add the finishing touch!

I stamped Celebrate The Good Stuff from the same stamp set inside and heat embossed it in gold also. I love embossing inside a card, it makes it feel so luxurious. I added the flower from the Love What You Do stamp set and coloured it in simply with a Stampin Blends Marker in Rich Razzleberry to match the flower and the colour in the DSP on the front of the card.

I stamped the flower onto the front of the envelope too. So lovely to receive in the post.

I hope you like the card. The gorgeous papers make it so easy to put together.
