Wow Make ' n Take 3D Card , Pinkies Team Event And The Stampers Showcase!

I am so excited to be part of the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop and very honoured to be in amongst some very talented stampers from around the world! If you are starting here or continuing to hop, hello and welcome to my blog.

For our hop this month the theme is 3D! The perfect excuse to show you this fun "springy" card I made using the gorgeous Magnolia Lane Suite.

I made this card for a WOW Make n Take for a team event this weekend! We had a whole weekend of crafting, laughing and sharing inspiration and projects. This weekend was run by my lovely team leader for our Pinkies Team. There were around 50 of us and I was absolutely delighted to take some of my own Inkredible Team members along too!

It's a fun springy card but folds flat to go into an envelope.

The magnolias are stamped and cut out using the dies and coloured in with Blends - my favourite kind of colouring medium right now. I used a little Flirty Flamingo at the base of the petals, then Petal Pink, leaving the tips white. The leaves are coloured in Mossy Meadow.

Watch out for a YouTube video coming up in the next few days showing how it's made.

I can't wait to see what all the other people taking part in the hop have come up with for the 3D Project  theme. There are some super talented people taking part so grab a cuppa and hop around for some fabulous inspiration.

Next up is Sue Vine at MissPinksCraftSpot.

Twist And Pop Card Made Easy - Hello Cupcake!

Twist And Pop Cards Made Easy - Hello Cupcake!

Open twist and pop card using Hello Cupcake stamps

Thanks for joining me for Saleabration Sunday, bringing you a new project every Sunday throughout Saleabration.

I loved these Twist and Pop cards when they seemed to be everywhere a while ago. I'm going to a team day today where we make cards and swap with each other to give inspiration and share ideas and I thought it would be nice to do something a little different.

There are lots of tutorials out there but here is my version. There are quite a few tutorials out there in inches but I couldn't find it in metric so I made my own.

These cards look complicated but there is really three steps to it and if you just take it step by step it's surprising how it comes together.

Cookie Cutter Ginger Bread Men Treat Bag - Punch Swap

Gingerbread Men Treat Bags - Cookie Cutter  Punch Swaps

Cookie Cutter Treat Bag Stampin Up. Team swaps

We had a great time at a team event I went to just over a week ago and I still have so much to share with you.

Stampin Up Team Event Photo

Lots of my wider team attended, around 88 of us.! We had a lot of fun trying to get a group shot at the end of the day!

We made projects, took classes, had product spotlights, shared samples, had an epic raffle and took part in group swaps.

Punch Swap

I love the Cookie Cutter stamp set and punch, perfect for making cute little Christmas treat bags. I used the 13/4", 2" and 2 1/4" circle punches with Real Red card, Old Olive card and Merry Mistletoe DSP and layered with the Gingerbread man on top of a tag cut out of Crumb Cake card using the Tag Topper Punch.

I used a little of the new Shimmer paint in Frost White to highlight him. I have tied some of our Real Red Ribbon around the top of one of our small cello bags after adding the Gingerbread men. So simple and cute. Watch out for a blog post coming up where I will be sharing all the lovely swaps I received!

We have so much fun at these team events, there is so much more to being part of Stampin' Up! than stamping. If you think you'd like to be a part of it too, join my team here or do get in touch if you would like some information. I would love to have you!

Here are all the products I used with Clickable links to my online shop.

Beautiful Baubles Christmas Card - Stamping With Shimmer Paint!

Beautiful Baubles Christmas Card

Stamping With Shimmer Paint!

Beautiful Baubles Christmas Card Using Shimmer paint. Stampin Up

I absolutely love this stamp set. It comes in a bundle with dies and have SO many possibilities for using them. I decided to use the large bauble stamp to create cards for a swap group at a large team event I went to on Sunday.

Us demo's LOVE to swap. We take them along to events and come home with a bag, bursting with inspiration. We also get to make new friends and share ideas too.

Stamping with Shimmer Paint

I knew I wanted to experiment with the new Shimmer Paint that is in the new Winter Catalogue. There were 88 of us at this event! So we did swaps in small groups. This meant that I only had to create 6 of this swap - phew!

Stamping with Shimmer Paint

I poured a little of the Frost shimmer Paint into a small bowl, added a few drops of reinker in Cherry Cobbler until I had the desired colour. then, using a sponge, I applied it to the stamp. I stamped straight away onto a piece of Whisper White card. Don't be worried, it does wash off your stamp if you wash it off straight away.

Christmas Card usinf Stitched Shape Framelit Dies

I used the Merry Mistletoe and Dashing Along Papers together with coordinating card , layered onto Whisper White to create the card bases. I cut out the baubles and layered them onto the cards with the sentiments which have been cut out of Whisper White using a circle from the Stitched Shape Framelits

Beautiful Baubles Christmas Card Using Shimmer paint. Stampin Up

The Shimmer Paint really shines. So pretty! I added some of the Mini Sequin Gold Trim to the baubles too, to give a little sparkle.

The sentiment inside from the same set is stamped in Real Red ink.

And for the finishing touch, I added Stampin Up's Statement Of The Heart on the back in Old Olive ink. I do love this stamp.

I hope you like the card I made for my Christmas Card swap. I also took part in a Punch swap too, I will be posting that project and all the gorgeous swaps I received in return too, this week so do look out for that.

You can purchase any of the supplies used in my online shop by using the clickable images below. Don't forget that if you buy both the stamps and dies as a bundle you will save 10%

Stampin' Up! Onstage 2017!

I am just about coming back down to earth I think from all the excitement of our Biannual Stampin' Up! demonstrator convention Onstage last weekend! It was AMAZING!

Stampin' Up!  do these events so well and they really do spoil us.
Onstage is held in various locations worldwide and our local UK one was this time held in Solihull. About 450 of attended and the event was sold out in less than a day!

I travelled up and went to a team craft event nearby on Friday where we had afternoon tea, fun, crafted and were spoiled!

A beautiful gift from my team leader. It has my initial on it!

Gorgeous view from this venue.

Demonstrators travel from all over the UK for Onstage and it is a very sociable occasion. There is always someone arranging a meal in the evening and everyone is welcome. Stampin' Up demonstrators are such a friendly bunch and always ready to welcome newcomers into the fold. The evening brought more fun and laughter as a group of us met up again for dinner.

Into bed late and up early on Saturday morning to go to Onstage.

They had a great breakfast at the hotel we stayed at including a waffle iron! I thought I'd be brave and have a go. It turned out ok didn't it?! It was delicious.

I was so thrilled to have one of my team coming to Onstage with me!

The day at Onstage is a full one, at check in you receive your convention bag full of goodies and your name badge and ribbons.  There are display boards showcasing all the brand new products from the up coming Spring Catalogue to ooh and aah over as well as sample projects too.

I was so happy to unexpectedly get a recruiting ribbon thanks to my team. 😊

Early in the day is the perfect time to get ahead with your swapping. The convention room is full of people swapping, hugging and catching up with old friends and swapping is the perfect way to make new ones.

See here my You Tube video of my swap and all the fabulous ones I received at Onstage plus my convention bag, contents and special Stampin' Up! 30th Anniversary pin.

We had so much fun. We are thoroughly spoiled throughout the day. It Is Stampin Up's 10th Anniversary in Europe this month and after a lovely lunch we all had a celebratory cupcake as well.

Amanda with her cake 😀

We were also gifted a gorgeous Stampin Up limited edition silver 30th Anniversary pin which is what my table were all holding in these little orange bags.

We got lots of goodies throughout the day, namely stamp sets and product. I got a great one in prize patrol. They are all from the new catalogue so no spoilers here, after all it's not even Christmas yet. Needless to say I am very excited and you wont be disappointed.

We saw lots of footage from the Live Onstage event in Utah as well as lots of presentations at our own event and at 11 am  we held a 2 minute silence for Armistice day and you could have heard a pin drop in that room of 450 people. I was a little proud of that.

I caught up with friends.

More of our team.

So many demonstrators gathered together having fun. There was lots of recognition for achievements and lots of cheering! We got Stampin Up news, saw new products showcased all day, received lots of goodies and had such a great day. I always come back feeling so inspired. I have to say getting the starter kit with Stampin' Up! was the best decision ever. I have had the best time and met some amazing people. All for the love of paper and ink.

I'm already planning for the next event and Im hoping to take more of my team along. its so much fun.  If you think you would like it too and would like to join my team, get in contact and see if its right for you.
