Dandelion Wishes - A Note For You

Dandelion Wishes - A Note For You

Inspire Create Challenge #040

This week for the Inspire Create Challenge we have a colour theme of Black and White.

Hand made card using the Dandelion Wishes stamp set in Black and White with Silver embossing.

I wanted a clean and simple card and I thought the Dandelion Wishes stamp set would be perfect for it.  I stamped it in Black to begin with but I felt there was something missing. I decided to stamp and emboss in Silver to compliment the monochrome without adding extra colour.

I added the "a note for you" from the Eastern palace stamp set in Black.  I wanted to see how the curve in the stamp would look like under the dandelion head. I love it! And I love the font in this stamp set too.

Just a simple card but very pretty, I added some of the black satin Ribbon to finish it off and tied a knot . I stamped dandelions inside the card and on the envelope too.

I hope you like it. You can see what the rest of the talented Design Team came up with for this challenge over at the Inspire Create Challenge #40 here. You can see all the entries and play along too. We'd love to have you!

You Lift Me Up Easel Card. Kylie's International Blog Highlights

You Lift Me Up Easel Card

Kylie's International Blog Highlights

Thanks for coming to my blog today. I am so happy to be taking part in Kylie Bertucci's blog highlights. This is a monthly card challenge and you get to choose the winners! There are lots of amazingly creative people from around the world taking part.  The top ten winners will get to be part of an International Blog Hop,  so please vote for me. You can vote for me here.

Hot air balloon thank you card, Stampin Up. Kylie's International Highlights

The theme we have is encouragement, thankfulness and gratitude so I pulled out a stamp/die bundle that I thought would be perfect for this. It's called Lift Me Up.

It's full of hot air balloon stamps, clouds and great sentiments with a set a coordinating dies called Up And Away, including this fab detailed large hot air balloon die

I wanted to make an easel card and having it looking like the balloon was rising up and away from the clouds - to fit the sentiment I chose - "Thanks For Lifting Me Up"

The balloons are cut using the Grapefruit Grove Foiled Papers - free from Saleabration. Can you see the rainbow of colour when the light shines on it? I was going for a kind of sunset feel. I've used the dies that allow you to cut out sections to fit the back of the balloon in vellum to echo the fabric of a real hot air ballon.

I die cut the clouds in Balmy Blue and Whisper White to match the card and raised them up on Dimensionals to support the Easel part of the card.

Inside the card I have used the "Thanks" sentiment in Balmy Blue ink.

I know exactly who I'm going to send this card to! I love how it turned out, I hope you do
Please take a second to vote for me in this challenge. I would love to be part of the top ten winners International Blog Hop. You can have a look at all the entries, get lots of inspiration and  vote for me here. So grab a cuppa and enjoy.

Congratulations Card. Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #024

Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #024 Floral theme

Congratulations !

You Are Amazing!

Congratulations card, Inspire Create Stamping Challenge Floral Theme #024

We have so many beautiful flower stamps,  however I was looking for something really subtle and delicate.  I decided to pull out the Jar of  Love stamps and dies and use the leaves in the stamps and dies for this congratulations card.

I have used Very Vanilla card stock for my card for the layer and the Oval which is cut out using the Stitched Shape Dies. The card base is in Old Olive. I first stamped the fern stamps in Pear Pizzazz ink. I then stamped the leaves in Old Olive ink and cut them out using the matching die. I have then cut some more of the same leaves using Pear Pizzazz card.

I have layered the leaves in an oval shape, deciding where I want them and adhering them with Tombow before adding the stitched Oval on top with some Dimensional foam pads. The 'amazing " die cut is cut out using the Celebrate You Thinlits. I have added some gold metallic thread to the back of the celebrate before adhering to the front for some added texture and interest and also added a little Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon along the top of the card.

I have cut the Celebrate out also and added it to the inside of the card, along with some more stamping of those pretty ferns in Old Olive ink.
